Boise Parkinson's Day
The Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation (NWPF) would like to take this opportunity to share information with you about an exciting event to benefit the Parkinson's Community of Idaho. On June 23rd, NWPF will be hosting the Boise HOPE® Conference. The conference will be held at the Riverside Hotel, located at 2900 W Chinden Blvd from 9:00am-12:00pm, followed by the Walk for Parkinson’s on the Greenbelt right outside the hotel from 1:00pm-4:00pm. We would love for you to be a part of this great program that will help bring awareness of Parkinson’s to the good people of Idaho. The HOPE® Conference is an educational symposium for people with Parkinson’s, Caregivers, Care Partners, Family, Friends, and anyone who is interested in learning more about this condition. This will empower the Parkinson’s Community in Idaho to learn more about movement, long term planning, caregiving, alternative treatments, clinical trials, and much more. I am also pleased to share that the Medical Keynote will be given by Dr. Stephen Asher, Medical Director of the St. Luke’s Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center. We will also feature several breakout sessions on various topics, including: health, awareness, exercise, and more. The HOPE® Conference and Walk for Parkinson's are great opportunities to promote awareness and raise funds for the programs, resources, and services in Idaho. These events, and other programs NWPF provides, would not be possible without the generosity of local, regional, and national sponsorship, as well as individual donations from the community.
